Fred died on December 10, 2015, at his home in Wynantskill, New York.

Born in Mississippi, Fred graduated from Baldwin Senior High School, in Baldwin, Long Island.  At Princeton he majored in history and belonged to Elm Club, where he served as club treasurer.  He sang in the Chapel Choir and participated in interclub sports.

After Princeton, Fred earned a law degree from Columbia Law School.  During the Vietnam War, he served in the United States Marine Corps, working in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps and rising to the rank of Captain.

Fred practiced law in Wynantskill.  He was an avid golfer and president and longtime member of the Frear Park Senior Golf Club.  He was a member of the Wyantskill Kiwanis Club and sang with the Uncle Sam Chorus.

Fred is survived by his wife Midge and children Fred, Kathy, and Cori.  The Class extends its deepest sympathy to them and to Fred’s extended family.
